The response to my outfit made from Amanda Brandl's Bush Gum Blossoms fabrics has been amazing! I'm so glad everyone loves these fabrics as much as I do. And I am really thrilled to now be able to share photos of the outfit actually on a little body instead of just flatlays! I owe a very big thank you to the lovely Carrie at Bugglebee Photography in Burleigh Heads for taking some fabulous pics with her dear little daughter Wren as model. Carrie's photos show off the fabrics and design beautifully; the images speak for themselves.
I love how Carrie has used fresh sprigs of Australian native plants to decorate the set. With the rustic wooden bed it all ties in so well with the Bush Gum Blossoms theme.
The romper is a great design not just for cake smash, but for portrait photographs, to wear out to a party, or just to play! The quality of the cotton fabric is superb.
I love this shot of the rear view! It shows the flounce of the circular peplums beautifully. The circular cut creates a lovely soft frilled look without the bulk of gathering, especially when there are two layers or frilling. Very elegant!
Everyone seems to love a Peter Pan collar, and this romper has two, or at least a double layered collar! It continues with the vintage inspiration and it adds interest and softens the neckline to frame the face, without being tizzy or getting in the way.
The Frilly Mob Cap is always a popular part of my girls' cake smash outfits. They look so cute for the after-cake bath photos. Trimmed with cambric lace (broderie anglaise) the Bush Gum Blossoms mob cap is a true touch of vintage!
This design is now listed in the web shop for ordering. You will find the listing here. Please allow up to 7 days for making. This is a limited range so if you love it, grab it while you can!
I am still working on designs for the rest of the Bush Gum Blossoms fabric range and hope to have those available soon, so keep an eye on my Facebook and Instagram pages for posts, and sign up to my newsletter to be kept up to date with the latest news.
